Definition

「chilly」は、少し寒くて快適ではない状態や、冷たい雰囲気・態度を指します。極端に寒いわけではありませんが、暖かさを求めたくなる感じです。

主に天気や部屋が少し寒い時に使います。比喩的に人や態度が冷たい場合にも「chilly」を使います。'a bit chilly', 'getting chilly'もよく使われます。
