Definition

体が寒くて震える感覚で、特に病気や恐怖を感じる時に現れることが多いです。また、感動や驚きなど強い感情で体が震える時にも使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「chills」は病気（特に発熱時）や感動・恐怖で震えるときにも使います。「chilly」（肌寒い）とは違います。日本語では文脈によって「悪寒」や「ゾクゾクする」が使われます。
