ठंड के साथ कांपने की अनुभूति, आमतौर पर बीमारी या डर के कारण। कभी-कभी किसी भावनात्मक प्रतिक्रिया के कारण शरीर का काँपना भी बताया जाता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अक्सर 'have the chills' कहने में इस्तेमाल होता है, खासकर बुखार या फ्लू के समय। भावनात्मक प्रतिक्रिया के लिए भी कहा जाता है। हमेशा बहुवचन में इस्तेमाल करें। 'chilly' (ठंडा) से न भ्रमित करें।
