透過喊叫或發出聲音來表達支持、快樂或鼓勵，通常在活動或為某人加油時使用。是“cheer”的過去式。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))
通常指羣眾在活動中表示支持（如“The crowd cheered”）。亦可指單獨一人鼓勵他人。多用於運動賽事或正面消息。不要和“cheered up”混淆（使心情好轉）。
