Definition

在國際象棋中，「將死」指國王被攻擊且無法脫身，遊戲結束。也可比喻某人完全無路可退或取勝的情況。

「將死」於棋局中十分正式，也可用來比喻毫無退路的場合。下棋結束會宣佈「將死」。日常語中有時用於強調無解局面，切勿和「將軍」混淆。
