「キャラクター」は物語や映画、ゲームに登場する人物や動物のことです。また、文章中の文字や記号、または性格的特徴を指すこともあります。

物語やフィクションでは「キャラクター」として人物・動物に使います。ITや文章では「文字」を意味します。「性格」は『a strong character』のように単数で使われます。
