“分”是货币的小单位，等于一美元或某些其他货币的百分之一。人们用它来谈论价格、硬币和精确的金额。

通常用在数字后面，如 '25 cents'。如果金额已经很清楚，一般不会单独说 'cents'。在美式英语里，one cent 也常说成 'a cent' 或 'a penny'。不要和 'sense' 混淆，它们发音相同。
