Definition

墓地とは、亡くなった人々が埋葬される場所です。一般的に、お墓や墓石が並び、静かな雰囲気があります。

丁寧で中立的な言葉です。'graveyard'より広い意味で、教会隣接の墓地にも使われます。「墓地を訪れる」「墓地に埋葬されている」などの表現があります。
