Definition

現金とは、紙幣や硬貨など、直接手元にあるお金のことです。小切手やカードではなく、直接支払うときに使います。

日常会話でよく使う言葉です。「現金で払う（pay in cash）」や「小切手を現金化する（cash a check）」のように使います。電子マネーには使いません。
