“案件”可以指正在調查或討論的事件或情況，也可以指用來裝或保護物品的容器，或某事的實例。

常用於法律（法律案件）、醫學（病例）及日常物品容器（手機殼）。既可用於正式也可用於非正式場合。注意不要與表示“……的情況”短語混淆。
