Definition
Cortar algo para darle forma con un cuchillo o herramienta, especialmente madera o piedra; también se usa para cortar carne cocida.

Se usa mucho en arte ("carve a statue", "carve a pumpkin") y en comida ("carve the turkey"). "Carve out" significa esforzarse para lograr algo. No confundir con "curve" (curva). Tono neutral.
