「運ぶ」の過去形で、物を一つの場所から別の場所へ動かしたり、情報や感情などを伝えたりする意味です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

物を運ぶ場合（例：バッグや子供）はもちろん、情報や声など目に見えないものにも使われます。服には使わず、「wear（着る）」を使います。
