'carry' का past tense और past participle। इसका अर्थ है किसी चीज़ को एक जगह से दूसरी जगह ले जाना, हाथ में उठाकर रखना, या आवाज़, जानकारी या भावना जैसी किसी चीज़ को आगे पहुँचाना।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह अक्सर ठोस चीज़ों के साथ आता है: 'carried a bag', 'carried the baby'। यह कम शाब्दिक अर्थों में भी आता है, जैसे 'The news was carried by every channel' या 'Her voice carried across the room'। इसे 'wore' से न मिलाएँ: 'carried a bag' कहते हैं, लेकिन 'wore a coat' कहते हैं।
