Definition

杖は歩行を助けるための棒で、特に高齢者やけがをした人が使います。また、サトウキビや竹など植物の硬い茎を指すこともあります。

日常的には歩行補助の「杖」として使われます。植物の文脈では「サトウキビ」や「竹の茎」も指します。「candy cane（キャンディケイン）」とは異なります。
