“calm”的比较级；用于描述某人或某事比之前更放松、更不激动，或与其他人或情况相比更平静。

用于描述更平静的状态，常和“than”搭配用于直接比较（如“She is calmer than before.”）。只能作形容词，不能作动词。

After the storm, the sea was much calmer.
