Un cactus es un tipo de planta que suele tener tallos gruesos y carnosos y espinas afiladas, y crece bien en lugares calientes y secos como los desiertos.

'Cactus' es contable: un cactus, dos cactus (plural igual que en singular). Se usa en botánica y en el lenguaje cotidiano, también en decoración. No confundir con 'suculenta', que es una categoría más amplia.
