ケーブルは、電気や信号を伝えたり、機器同士を接続したりするための太いワイヤーや複数のワイヤーです。テレビの配線サービスを指すこともあります。

「power cable」「USBケーブル」など、電子機器の接続や充電に使う太いコードを指します。テレビの『ケーブル』と言えば「ケーブルテレビ」も意味します。細いワイヤーには「ワイヤー」や「コード」を使うこともあります。
