キャビネットは、物を収納するための扉や引き出しが付いた家具を指します。また、政府のトップ大臣グループ（内閣）も意味します。

一般的に『cabinet』は『キッチンキャビネット』『薬箱』など収納家具を指します。政治の文脈では『Cabinet（内閣）』と大文字で書かれます。『closet（クローゼット）』とは意味が異なります。
