說衣服上的「button」時，常和 'do up'、'undo'、'button'、'unbutton' 搭配。說機器或螢幕上的「button」時，常用 'press'、'click' 或 'tap a button'。在手機和應用程式裡，'button' 也常指螢幕上的虛擬按鈕，不一定是實體按鍵。
