Definition
O ato de colocar algo no solo e cobrir com terra. Costuma ser usado para enterrar pessoas que faleceram, mas também para esconder objetos ou lixo debaixo da terra.

Geralmente usado no passado ou no gerúndio: 'He is burying a treasure.' Pode ser literal (colocar no solo) ou figurado ('burying the past'). Normalmente formal ou neutro. Não confundir com 'buried' (passado) ou 'bury' (forma base).
