何かや誰かを地面に入れて土で覆うこと。または、完全に隠したり、何かに没頭したりすることもある。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にお葬式や埋葬の場面で使われますが、'bury treasure'（宝を埋める）、'be buried in work'（仕事に埋もれる）のような日常的な表現でも使います。'plant'は種や植物に用います。
