建物（特に家）に不法侵入して物を盗む人。

“Burglar” は主に家に侵入して盗みを働く人。'robber'（強盗、公の場しばしば力を使う）や'thief'（一般的な泥棒）とは異なる。'burglar alarm' などの表現とよく使う。
