少し動かすこと、または自分の考えや立場を変えることも指します。

「won’t budge」は全く動かない、あるいは譲らない時によく使います。日常会話でよく登場し、フォーマルな場面ではあまり使いません。

The door was stuck and wouldn’t budge.

ドアが引っかかって全く**動かなかった**。

She asked him to apologize, but he wouldn’t budge.

彼女は謝るよう頼んだが、彼は**意見を変えなかった**。

Try to budge the table a little so it fits.
