物や場所がどれだけ明るいか、光をどれくらい発しているかを表します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に不可算名詞として使われます。「太陽の明るさ」「画面の明るさを調整」のような表現でよく使います。稀に知性や鮮やかな色を表すこともありますが、物理的な明るさが主です。
