"Breaths" هو الجمع لكلمة "breath" ويعني عمليات الشهيق والزفير. يشير إلى أكثر من مرة تدخل وتخرج فيها الهواء من رئتيك.

تُستخدم 'breaths' حرفياً ولها معانٍ مجازية أيضاً (مثل 'deep breaths' للتهدئة). تعبيرات شائعة: 'take a few breaths', 'catch your breath', 'short of breath'. لا تخلط بين 'breathe' (الفعل) و'breadth' (العرض).
