Definition

শারীরিক পরিশ্রম, উত্তেজনা বা বিস্ময়ের কারণে যখন ঠিকমতো শ্বাস নিতে কষ্ট হয়, তখন তাকে বোঝানো হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

শারীরিক অবস্থা বোঝাতে, অথবা আবেগজনিত উত্তেজনা বা নাটকীয় মুহূর্তেই ব্যবহৃত হয়। উদাহরণ: 'breathless with excitement' মানে অত্যন্ত উচ্ছ্বসিত। 'breath' বা 'breathe' শব্দের সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
