物を突然壊すこと、または短い休憩を取ること。何かを損なう、休む、または正式に終わらせる意味もあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

『壊す』は物理的に壊す時に、 『休憩』は休む時に使います。『take a break』は休憩する、 『break a rule』は規則を破る、という意味です。
