Definition

悪いことをしたり、わがままな子供を指すちょっと乱暴な言葉です。

とてもカジュアルで失礼に聞こえる場合があるのでフォーマルな場面では使いません。「spoiled brats」は「甘やかされたガキ」です。大人にも子供っぽい行動をする場合使うことがあります。

The teacher got angry when the brats started yelling in class.

先生は、教室で**ガキ**たちが大声を出し始めたとき怒りました。

Those brats took my seat on the bus.

あの**ガキ**たちがバスで私の席を取った。

She doesn't like to babysit the neighbor's brats.
