Definition

「枝」は木の幹から伸びる部分です。また、会社や銀行などの「支店」や、分野の一部分を指すこともあります。

木の部分には「枝」、会社や銀行には「支店」を使う。学問分野には「分野」「部門」とも言えるが、基本的に「branch=支店/枝」と区別する。
