ブレーキ

Definição

ブレーキは、車や自転車などの乗り物を減速させたり止めたりするための装置です。足や手で操作します。

通常は複数形（ブレーキ）で使います。'hit the brakes'（急ブレーキをかける）、'brake pedal'（ブレーキペダル）、'brake lights'（ブレーキランプ）などのフレーズでよく出ます。'Breaks' と混同しないよう注意しましょう。

The bike brakes work well.
