境界とは、あるエリアの端や限界を示す線や点のこと、または行動や責任など抽象的なものの限界を表します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「boundary」は具体的な境界（国同士の線など）にも抽象的な限界（感情・行動の線引き）にも使います。「set a boundary」「boundary between」「cross a boundary」などのコロケーションに注意。国境には「border」（主に国の境目）もありますが区別してください。
