무언가가 표면에 닿았다가 위로 튀어 오르는 움직임을 나타내며, 이메일이나 수표 등이 갑자기 돌아오는 상황에도 사용됩니다.

주로 공이나 물체에 쓰이며, 이메일(반송)이나 활기찬 움직임(사람에게 비유적으로)에도 씁니다. 'bounce off'는 아이디어를 상의할 때 쓰입니다.
