Definition

物やボールが地面などに当たった後に弾んで跳ね上がる動き。また、突然戻ってくることにも使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にボールや物に使われます。人には比喩的に使われ、『bounce off』はアイデアなどを人に伝えて反応を見る時に使います。メールや小切手が返る場合にも使います。
