Definition

ふざけたり軽く侮辱したりするときに使う、すごくおろかな人を指すスラングです。

友達同士で冗談で使われることが多いですが、本気で言うと失礼です。「bonehead move」は「ばかげたミス」という意味で使います。フォーマルな場面では使いません。

He called his friend a bonehead for forgetting the keys.

彼は友達が鍵を忘れたことで**まぬけ**と言った。

Don't be a bonehead; look before you cross the street.
