Definition

ボーラは、両端に重りが付いた紐を動物の足に絡ませて捕まえるための南アメリカ由来の狩猟用武器です。英語で「bolo」は「cake」の誤記として使われることもあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に南アメリカの伝統的な狩猟道具として登場し、日常会話ではあまり使われません。「ボーロ」はスペイン語やポルトガル語のケーキとは別物です。
