ボートは、水の上を移動するための小型から中型の乗り物です。釣りや移動、スポーツ、レジャーなどに使われます。

これは“boat”の複数形です。「ボート」は「シップ（船）」より小さいものを指します。釣り用ボート、ヨット、スピードボートなどに使います。小さい水上の乗り物に“シップ”は使いません。

The boats are near the beach.

**ボート**はビーチの近くにあります。

We saw many boats on the lake.
