Cerrar y abrir los ojos rápidamente, generalmente sin pensarlo. También puede referirse a un destello corto de luz.

Generalmente se refiere a los ojos, pero también puede hablarse de luces ('the lights blinked'). Es común la expresión 'in the blink of an eye'. No se usa para mirar fijamente ni para cerrar lentamente los ojos.
