Definition

ブラインドは、スラット（細長い板）でできていて、部屋の光やプライバシーを調整できる窓のカバーです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

一般に横か縦のスラット式の窓カバーを指し、カーテン（布）とは異なる。『ブラインドを開ける/閉める』などの表現がよく使われる。
