Um blimp é um grande balão voador que se mantém no ar por causa de um gás leve e não possui estrutura rígida. É muito usado em publicidade e para tirar fotografias aéreas.

'Blimp' usa-se de forma informal e significa dirigíveis pequenos e sem estrutura interna rígida. Não confundir com 'zepelim', que é um modelo rígido e maior. Bastante visível em publicidade aérea.
