Definition

『枯死病』とは、植物や作物を枯らす病気や状態を指します。また、場所や状況、希望などを損なうものにも使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

農学などで植物病としてよく使われますが、都市の荒廃（urban blight）のように比喩でも使われます。軽微な問題には使いません。
