সাধারণত খোলা জায়গায় ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন স্কুল মাঠ বা খেলাধুলার মাঠ। এটি বিশেষভাবে আমেরিকান ইংরেজিতে ব্যবহৃত, 'stands' বা 'terraces' নয়। একবচনে খুব কম ব্যবহার হয়।
