Un obispo es un sacerdote cristiano de alto rango que dirige un grupo de iglesias en una región. En ajedrez, un alfil es la pieza que se mueve en diagonal por el tablero.

Se usa sobre todo como cargo religioso en contextos formales o religiosos. En ajedrez, ojo: en inglés se dice 'bishop', no siempre coincide con el nombre de la pieza en otros idiomas; combinaciones comunes: 'Catholic bishop', 'become a bishop' y 'move the bishop'.
