ベンチは、複数人が座れる長い椅子です。スポーツでは控え選手席、法廷では裁判官団を指すこともあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常では長椅子の意味が一般的です。スポーツで“ベンチ入り”は出場しない選手。法廷では裁判官全体を指します。
