Definition

ある宗教や思想、運動などを強く信じている人たちを指します。宗教的な場面では特に使われますが、広い意味で理念などにも使えます。

宗教以外にも広い意味で使えるが、カジュアルな好みや日常的な関心には使われない。『信者』は特に宗教で多用。

The believers go to the temple every Sunday.
