何かや誰かの後ろの位置を表します。また、他の人と比べて遅れていることも表します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

"behind the door" は物の後ろを意味します。「fall behind」は遅れる、「left behind」は置き去りにする、の意味です。接触には別の言葉を使います。
