"behave" in Spanish
Definition
Actuar de una manera determinada, especialmente de forma educada, tranquila o socialmente aceptable. Se usa mucho para hablar de niños, pero puede describir la conducta de cualquier persona.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Es muy común con adverbios: 'behave well', 'behave badly', 'behave strangely'. Con niños, 'Behave!' significa 'compórtate bien'. También aparece en estructuras como 'behave like...' y 'behave as if...'. No lo confundas con 'behavior', que es el sustantivo.
