Definition

ビーチは、海や湖、川のそばにある砂や小石のある場所で、人々が泳いだり、休んだり、日光浴をしたりします。

一般的に海辺の砂浜を指すことが多いです。「go to the beach」「on the beach」「beach towel」などと使います。「海岸（coast）」「岸（shore）」とは区別してください。

We go to the beach every summer.
