Definition

銃剣は、ライフルや銃の先に装着して槍のように近接戦闘で使える長く尖った刃物です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に歴史的・軍事的な文脈で使われます。「bayonets fixed」は白兵戦への準備完了を示します。現代の日常会話や比喩ではほぼ使われません。
