集団や軍、指導者のために旗やバナーを持つ人。多くは忠誠やリーダーシップの象徴となる。

'旗持ち'や'旗手'は歴史小説やファンタジーなどで使われるフォーマルな表現で、現代の日常会話ではあまり使われません。中世や騎士の物語などに多く登場します。
