Definition

陽臺是建築物牆體向外伸出的平臺，通常在一樓以上，四周有欄杆。人們可以站在上面透氣、看風景，或從公寓、房子、劇院向外看。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

通常指建築高層外側較小的開放空間。居家語境裡常見搭配有 'on the balcony' 和 'balcony door'；在劇院裡，'the balcony' 也可以指上層觀眾席。不要和 'terrace' 或 'patio' 混淆，後兩者通常是更大的地面或屋頂空間。
